Course Description

This workshop will take your dentistry to “the next level”, with developing a deeper understanding of more common conditions like periodontal disease and possible avenues for salvage to uncommon conditions like how to approach facial trauma emergency cases.

• Understand the value of COHAT to improve periodontal outcomes

• Feline dentistry focus including four quadrant extraction

• Retrieval of fractured root tups and difficult to access caudal molar teeth

• Basic introduction to maxillofacial trauma, minimally invasive repair techniques and understand biomechanics associated with jaw fracture repair.

Participants will be able to further refine and develop a more in-depth focus on dental conditions in companion animals and expand their skill set to encompass challenging and more advanced procedures.
