Course Description

Featuring the I-Loc® 3-4-5 and the 6-7-8 systems, this three-day workshop will cover principles of interlocking nailing in various long bone fracture configurations for standard, large, and small breed dogs and cats. The evolution of interlocking nail designs will be addressed, emphasizing the concept of angle-stable centromedullary fixation.

Course Objectives

Detailed surgical techniques for fracture fixation using the I-Loc system will be demonstrated, followed by a wet and dry laboratory with extensive hands-on fracture reduction and fixation on both small and large-sized models. A report of clinical results and expectations will conclude the laboratory.

CE Credits - RACE Approved

This course meets the requirements for 15 CE Credit hours of continuing education in a jurisdiction that recognizes AAAVSB RACE approval.
