Workshop Description
This workshop provides a comprehensive understanding of limb, tail, and toe amputation in dogs and cats, including indications, surgical techniques, and postoperative management.
Participants will perform toe, forelimb and hindlimb amputations during a wet lab using standard surgical instruments. The workshop will also cover the benefits of surgical cautery. In addition, participants will learn how to manage intraoperative and postoperative complications to optimize patient outcomes.
