BioMedtrix® Universal Hip™ Small Breeds In-Person Mentorship Opportunity
Course
BioMedtrix Universal Hip Small Breeds Mentorship Program
The BioMedtrix Universal Hip Small Breeds Mentorship Program is a two-step pathway designed to support surgeons and their surgical teams as they transition from training to clinical practice in Small Breeds Total Hip Replacement (THR). The program provides comprehensive technical feedback and expert guidance to ensure clinical readiness.
Successful completion of this program is required prior to purchasing BioMedtrix Universal Hip Small Breeds implants for clinical use.
Program Overview
This mentorship program consists of two sequential components:
Part 1: Case Evaluation – Wet Lab Pathway performed during this in-person mentorship opportunity.
Surgeons perform the Universal Hip Replacement procedure on wet lab cases involving small-breed dogs and cats. Participants submit radiographs and required documentation for review and receive detailed technical feedback. This step confirms readiness for clinical application and must be successfully completed before proceeding to clinical case mentoring.
Part 2: Clinical Case Mentoring to be performed independently at the surgeon's veterinary clinic.
Surgeons receive expert guidance and evaluation during their first two clinical cases using the BioMedtrix Universal Hip Small Breeds System. Successful completion confirms surgical proficiency and authorizes the purchase of implants in all available sizes.
