KYON THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation (remote)

Part of the KYON THR Mentorship Program

The KYON THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation is the first required step in the KYON THR Mentorship Program to become an approved KYON THR User.

 

Eligibility

The KYON THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation is the next step in the KYON THR Education Pathway after completion of the KYON THR Online Course Path and the KYON Total Hip Replacement Workshop. 

Surgeons can access this evaluation by:

  • Purchasing the KYON THR Mentorship Package
    (Includes: Wet Lab Case Evaluation and Clinical Case Mentoring for the standard-size system, 6 total case submissions)

  • Or purchasing the Wet Lab Case Evaluation as a standalone
    (Includes 3 case submissions; no Clinical Case Mentoring included)

Program Overview

This practical evaluation supports surgeons transitioning from workshop training to clinical procedures. Surgical teams will:

  • Perform the THR procedure on wet lab cases

  • Self-assess the wet lab case performance
  • Submit radiographs and case documentation

  • Receive detailed feedback using the KYON Zurich Cementless THR system

Completion Criteria

  • 3 approved case submissions required

  • Minimum 15 points per case, no critical errors

  • Additional cases (if needed) will be invoiced at CHF 250 per submission

After Completion

Surgeons who complete the Wet Lab Case Evaluation can progress to:

  • KYON THR Clinical Case Mentoring (Recommended for full approval on the standard-size system)

  • Or begin training for the KYON Mini THR System
