Course Description

Join us for the Practical CPD Orthopaedic Symposium on the theme “All about the Hip”, set amidst the pristine beauty of Hamilton Island from the 8th to the 10th of November 2024. 

Designed to update and expand the orthopaedic knowledge within your team, the symposium will feature five of Australia’s leading orthopaedic specialists as well as a world-renowned international orthopaedic specialist – Dr Terri Schiller, DVM, CCRT, DACVS, one of the global leaders in Total Hip Replacement surgery and education.

Diagnostic and therapeutic considerations of traumatic and non-traumatic disease processes of the hip will be presented. A special focus will be placed on other conditions of the pelvic limb that masquerade as hip concerns. 

The event will use both whole group lectures as well as small group, case-based and scientifically supported discussions and aims to increase practitioners’ knowledge and understanding of investigative modalities, evaluation and treatment options for all hip and hip related conditions in small animals.
