The KYON Mini THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation is the next step in the KYON THR Education Pathway after completion of the KYON Mini Total Hip Replacement Workshop. 

Successful completion of the KYON Mini Wet Lab Case Evaluation is mandatory to proceed to the KYON Mini THR Clinical Cases Mentoring. 

This evaluation program is designed to support new KYON Mini THR surgeons as they progress beyond attendance at a KYON Mini THR Workshop, towards performing clinical KYON Mini THR procedures. It offers surgeons and their surgical teams the technical feedback and support required to gain confidence in performing THR with the KYON Mini THR system as they prepare to perform clinical cases. 

Surgeons who complete the KYON Mini THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation will have demonstrated an understanding of the concepts necessary for successful clinical results. The Wet Lab Case Evaluation consists of surgeons and their teams practicing the surgical procedure on cadavers, and submitting radiographs and case notes for evaluation. 

The purchase of the KYON Mini THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation for USD 750 includes three case submissions. Successful completion of the wet lab evaluation is achieved if 2 cases have been approved (≥15 points per submission).

NOTE: If the Mini THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation is not passed after the submission of your first 3 cases, further cases have to be submitted. You will be able to submit more than 3 cases within the KYON Mini THR Wet Lab Case Evaluation, but please be aware that there will be an additional cost of USD 250 per case submission, which will be invoiced to you.
