Surgeons who have completed the prior online courses and the KYON Mini Total Hip Replacement Workshop in the KYON THR Education Pathway, and have also passed the wet lab case evaluation part of the Mini THR Skill Assessment, must submit their first two clinical Mini THR cases for further support and feedback.

KYON THR experts are available to give feedback on the pre-op planning and on the post-op radiographs of the clinical cases as the new KYON Mini THR surgeons start performing clinical Mini THR procedures. This support helps surgeons and the surgical team to gain more confidence at the start of their Mini Total Hip Replacement experience. 

Completing the mentor training is mandatory to engage in when starting Mini THR procedures at their own clinic.
