Workshop Description

Featuring the I-Loc 3-4-5 and 6-7-8 systems, this 3-day workshop will cover principles of interlocking nailing in a variety of long bone fracture configurations for standard, large, and small breed dogs. The evolution of interlocking nail designs will be addressed, with an emphasis on the concept of angle-stable centromedullary fixation.

Workshop Objectives

Detailed surgical techniques for fracture fixation using the I-Loc system will be demonstrated, followed by a wet and dry laboratory with extensive hands-on fracture reduction and fixation on both small and large-sized models. A report of clinical results and expectations will conclude the laboratory.
