The workshop also delves into nerve blocks, a crucial aspect of pain management, and provides insights into surgical flap design and closure techniques. With a comprehensive approach, this workshop promises to empower veterinarians with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Veterinary Dentistry.

Key Skills

At the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

  • To be able to take a diagnostic dental radiographs
  • Basic interpretation of dental radiographs: normal anatomy and their variations
  • To be able to perform dental extractions, including surgical extractions

Value to Your Practice

The primary objective of this workshop is to empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed to return to small animal practice and adeptly administer the necessary treatments for their patients. Many of us find small animal dentistry challenging due to a notable gap in our skills in this domain as we enter practice. The acquisition of confidence in this area not only leads to enhanced proficiency but also translates into improved conversion rates and overall efficiency in delivering veterinary care.
