This is a half day hands on workshop from 1:00pm to 4:30pm.

Workshop Description

In this session we will review the indications, surgical technique and complications associated with intestinal resection and anastomosis, intestinal biopsy and gastropexy. A short lecture will be followed by a hands-on laboratory for you to perform these techniques on dogs and cats with supervision, using equipment provided by the Movora Company.

Workshop Objectives

• Update their knowledge on practical surgical techniques and procedures related to the treatment of patella luxation 
• Gain a better knowledge of the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and introductory treatment of patellar luxation      
• Better understand how to perform each surgical technique through extensive use of case studies, lectures, lab manuals, and hands-on laboratory practice. ·   
• Gain the confidence and ability to perform orthopedic surgery procedures in their own practice.
