IMEX Small Animal Hybrid & Circular External Fixation Workshop
Course
December 11-13, 2025
Join Movora for our Small Animal Hybrid & Circular External Skeletal Fixation Workshop presented by IMEX Veterinary at the Courtyard By Marriott Dallas Allen in Allen, Texas.
Description
This advanced workshop is designed for veterinary surgeons, surgical residents, and experienced practitioners with a strong interest in orthopedics. Over the course of 2.5 days, an expert faculty with more than 30 years of clinical orthopedic experience will guide participants through advanced hybrid and circular external fixation principles, as well as emerging techniques and current trends in the field.
The curriculum integrates lectures, case-based discussions, and extensive hands-on training through the construction of fixation frames for the management of complex fractures, non-unions, bone defects, and limb salvage procedures. Instruction will also emphasize presurgical planning for angular limb deformities, correction of antebrachial length discrepancies, and the application of advanced imaging and 3D printing to support surgical decision-making.
In addition, modern biomechanical and surgical principles will be highlighted to ensure participants gain a comprehensive understanding of external fixation.
By the end of the course, attendees will have refined their technical skills, expanded their knowledge base, and enhanced their ability to apply the latest advancements in external fixation to clinical practice.
