Key Skills
At the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:
- Perform dental extractions, including surgical extractions
- Develop a sound understanding of dental anatomy and function while performing comprehensive oral health assessments, including the recognition of common diseases
- Take a diagnostic dental radiograph with basic interpretation of dental radiographs: normal anatomy and their variations
Value to Your Practice
The primary objective of this workshop is to empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed to return to small animal practice and adeptly administer the necessary treatments for their patients. Many of us find small animal dentistry challenging due to a notable gap in our skills in this domain as we enter practice. The acquisition of confidence in this area not only leads to enhanced proficiency but also translates into improved conversion rates and overall efficiency in delivering veterinary care.
