Course Description

Veterinary Nurses and Technicians are essential to the success of dental services in clinical practice. Their responsibilities span:

  • Client communication and education
  • Professional dental cleaning
  • Production of Full-mouth Dental Radiographic survey
  • Anaesthetic management during dental procedures
  • Maintenance of dental instruments and equipment

Key Skills 

At the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Perform professional dental cleaning to WSAVA Gold Standards
  • Master ultrasonic scaler settings and hand instrumentation techniques
  • Produce full-mouth dental radiographic survey
  • Troubleshoot images and apply corrective strategies
  • Apply advanced techniques to produce diagnostic images
  • Develop effective homecare routines that engage clients in long-term oral health
