About
Join us on July 24th, 2025 for the Brachycephalic Surgery workshop sponsored by Kahuvet at The Kahuvet Education Center in Auckland, New Zealand!
This one-day workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive, practical approach to managing dogs affected by Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS). The session will focus on the unique challenges that veterinarians encounter when diagnosing and treating this complex and increasingly common condition. Through a combination of case-based discussions, hands-on practical sessions, and expert-led presentations, the workshop will help sharpen your clinical judgment and improve both medical and surgical decision-making. Whether you’re evaluating a brachycephalic dog in respiratory distress, planning airway surgery, or navigating postoperative care, this course will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices under pressure. From early recognition and diagnostic workups to choosing the most appropriate surgical interventions, you’ll gain critical insights to better manage these urgent and often high-risk cases.
