Workshop Description

This KYON THR Skill Assessment Workshop is for surgeons who have completed the KYON Total Hip Replacement Workshop and want to proceed to the KYON THR Skill Assessment.

This assessment workshop is giving surgeons the opportunity to complete a maximum of 4 total hip replacement wet lab cases over 2 days, in a small group setting.

The workshop gives surgeons the opportunity to complete the wet lab case evaluation part of the KYON THR Skill Assessment (please note that passing of the assessment will be granted only if the approval criteria have been met).

Participation in the workshop will provide you with the laboratory space, wet lab, all needed equipment and implants, and on-site review.

Workshop Objectives

Within this workshop, participants will enhance their skills and gain confidence in the THR procedure in intensive wet lab surgeries.

In case of successful completion of this workshop, surgeons will be eligible to purchase standard-size THR implants for the first two clinical cases.

Prerequisites

Completion of the KYON: An Introduction to THR Online Course and the KYON Total Hip Replacement Workshop is mandatory before attending the workshop.
