This two-day workshop allows participants to learn the advanced techniques needed to perform TPLO and MPL in small breed dogs, using the new VOI BioCurve range of TPLO plates.

Workshop Description
You have already learned the TPLO technique and want to extend your skills to be able to practice TPLO on small breed dogs, as well as Mini TPLO and Medial Patellar Luxation (MPL)? Please join us for this workshop, in which you will learn and practice these advanced TPLO techniques.
Workshop Objectives
In this workshop, we will discuss and practice the use of Mini TPLO, using VOI BioCurve 1.5 and 2.0 mm TPLO plates, on the second day in combination with MPL. All exercises will be done as dry lab and wet lab exercises. The workshop will consist of the following:
- TPLO in small breed dogs
- TPLO and MPL in small breed dogs
- Preplanning (vPOP) and planning exercises
- Mini TPLO / Mini TPLO and MPL dry lab exercises
- Mini TPLO / Mini TPLO and MPL wet lab exercises
- Review and discussion of radiographs of all exercises
Intended audience and prerequisites
This workshop is aimed at surgeons who are already performing TPLO and want to practice TPLO and MPL on small breed dogs with confidence.
