Course Description
The BioMedtrix Introduction to THR for Surgical Residents Workshop was developed in cooperation with experienced industry-leading surgeons. This one-day course is designed for second and third-year residents and consists of a comprehensive online educational component, classroom instruction, and hands-on laboratory experience. Our multi-faceted approach to education is designed to offer participants a thorough supply of resources, reinforcement, and support to familiarize themselves with the Total Hip Replacement procedure.
Course Objectives
Participants of this workshop will learn ideal case selection, preoperative planning, surgical technique, and postoperative patient management.
Prerequisites
This workshop is intended for second and third-year surgical residents.
CE Credits - RACE Approved
This course meets the requirements for 7.5 CE Credit hours of continuing education in a jurisdiction that recognizes AAAVSB RACE approval.
