Workshop Description
Patellar luxation is a common yet challenging orthopedic condition in dogs, demanding comprehensive understanding and proficient management. This 2.5-day course is meticulously designed to equip veterinarians with the latest diagnostic modalities and treatment strategies essential for addressing patellar luxation effectively.
Workshop Objectives
Participants will:
- know what a CORA is
- be able to measure it on radiographs with a dedicated software (vPOP)
- be able to perform a proximal tibial osteotomy and distal femoral osteotomy to correct a medial patellar luxation
- know what a PGR is and when it is indicated
- will perform a PGR on plastic bones and cadavers
