Workshop Description

Patellar luxation is a common yet challenging orthopedic condition in dogs, demanding comprehensive understanding and proficient management. This 2.5-day course is meticulously designed to equip veterinarians with the latest diagnostic modalities and treatment strategies essential for addressing patellar luxation effectively.

 

Workshop Objectives

Participants will:

  • know what a CORA is
  • be able to measure it on radiographs with a dedicated software (vPOP)
  • be able to perform a proximal tibial osteotomy and distal femoral osteotomy to correct a medial patellar luxation
  • know what a PGR is and when it is indicated
  • will perform a PGR on plastic bones and cadavers
