An Introduction to CORA Based Leveling Osteotomy (CBLO) Online Course
Course
The Introduction to CORA Based Leveling Osteotomy (CBLO) Online Course is designed provide foundational knowledge of CORA Based Leveling Osteotomy (CBLO). This course reviews when and why to conduct a CBLO procedure, and gives theory behind why CBLO has been highly successful in repairing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears in canines. The goal of the CBLO procedure is to eliminate excessive tibial translation by modifying the tibial plateau angle based on Paley’s principles for osteotomies. The acronym CORA stands for Center of Rotation of Angulation and is the theory behind this procedure. The proximal canine tibia has a normal procurvatum, or normal cranial to caudal bend, and hence has a normal Center of Rotation of Angulation (CORA).
A total of .75, RACE approved, CE credits are earned for successful completion.
