Join this Movora-sponsored workshop on August 22nd for the VetFocus Micro™ Visualization Challenge Workshop by VetClarity and VerticalVet in Vancouver, WA!

This full-day workshop will allow participants to gain hands-on experience with the VetClarity VetFocus Micro™ Visualization Scope, building core arthroscopic skills — navigation, triangulation, and precision targeting — across four rotating skill stations on industry-standard trainers.

Workshop Description

The Micro Visualisation Scope Challenge is a hands-on, friendly competition built for general practitioners curious about arthroscopic visualization. Participants get real-time on the VetClarity Micro Needle Scope, practicing the foundational psychomotor skills that underpin every arthroscopic procedure — scope navigation, triangulation, and precision targeting — on industry-standard FAST arthroscopy trainers. Four teams rotate through four skill stations, scores add up across the day, and the day closes with awards. 

 

Workshop Objectives

By the end of the day, participants will have: 

  1. Gained familiarity with the VetClarity Micro Needle Scope System, its components, and setup. 

  1. Developed core arthroscopic psychomotor skills: scope navigation, triangulation, and hand-eye coordination under indirect visualization. 

  1. Practiced on industry-standard FAST arthroscopy trainers used in human surgical residency programs. 

  1. Built confidence to consider needle scope applications in their own practice. 

 

Format & Scoring 

Participants are divided into 4 teams of 4. Each team rotates through 4 skill stations across the day, spending 45 minutes at each. At each station, individuals complete a timed skills challenge on the FAST trainer using the VetClarity Micro Needle Scope.  

While one teammate scopes, the others observe and coach — arthroscopy is a watched skill as much as a done skill. Individual and team totals are tracked, with a leaderboard revealed at lunch, refreshed mid-afternoon, and finalized at the awards ceremony.

Scope navigation under indirect visualization. Trace the maze from start to finish. Scored on time and errors. 

 

 

Bullseye 

 

 

Probing & Targeting 

 

 

Point-to-point accuracy. Touch each target in sequence with the probe under scope view. Scored on completions and time. 

 

 

Ring Rally 

 

 

Ring Transfer 

 

 

Triangulation — the core arthroscopy skill. Transfer rings between posts using two instruments under scope view. Scored on rings transferred and time. 

 

 

Dome Diver 

 

 

Shoulder Dome 

 

 

3D navigation inside a joint-shaped cavity. Locate and visualize target points within the dome. Scored on completions and view clarity. 

 

CE Credits - RACE Approved 

This workshop is pending approval for continuing education credits in jurisdiction which recognizes AAAVSB RACE approval.
